The number of Honors courses required (including a possible Senior Honors Thesis/Project) will vary from student to student based on your entry point.  Your Honors advisor will determine the number of Honors course requirements at your first meeting.  Students who have completed their Liberal Education Requirements (or have completed Ohio’s Transfer Module) and are unable to take Honors coursework will be required to do a Senior Honors Thesis/Project.

Scholarship eligibility:  If you are applying as a college student with a 3.5 or higher college GPA, you may be eligible to apply for one of our $1000 Honors Academic Achievement Awards (HAAA).  Should you not be eligible for an Honors scholarship at this time, you may apply for a HAAA after completing two semesters in Honors as long as you have a 3.5 or higher GPA at Kent.  HAAA Application
