Graduation from Honors

Honors students may choose between a thesis option and a non-thesis option for graduation from Honors.  All Honors students must still complete the required 24 credit hours of Honors work.

Thesis Option

Graduation with Honors requires the completion and oral defense of a six-credit-hour Senior Honors Thesis. Students can earn three levels of distinction for graduation with Honors:

Non-Thesis Option

Students may graduate from Honors without completing a Senior Honors Thesis.  The non-thesis option will earn students the notation Honors College Scholar on the final academic transcript.
