Katie Sorokas, Residence Hall Director, is scheduled to present at the 2013 American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) Convention and Expo to be held in Charlotte, NC from April 23-27, 2013. The title of her presentation “Creative Programming Utilizing Best Practices in Substance Abuse Prevention.†AAHPERD’s mission is to promote and support leadership, research, education, and best practices in the professions that support creative, healthy, and active lifestyles.

Laura De’Armond and Matt Musgrave, Residence Hall Directors,  presented at the 2012 Great Lakes Association of College and University Housing Officers (GLACUHO) to be held in Columbus, OH from November 4-6, 2012. The title of their presentation“So You Want to be a Residence Hall Director? Things to Consider & Ways to Prepare.â€

Charles Holmes-Hope, Assistant Director for Residence Education, moderated a campus-wide interview title “Advancing our Profession to the Next Level†within Student Affairs, a conversation with Dr. Kevin Kruger, President, National Association of Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA) in September of 2012.
