Engleman Hall is comprised of apartments with either one bedroom or four bedroom units (there are also three efficiency units). All apartments are fully furnished. All furniture is moveable (i.e.; not built in/attached to the walls). The living room has a sofa, chair and coffee table. Table and chairs are provided in the kitchen. Each bedroom is furnished with a bed, drawers, wardrobe, desk with lighted hutch, and a desk chair.
Visitation and Alcohol Policy
24-hour visitation is permitted among residents within their own hall.
24-hour visitation is permitted among nonresident guests within a limited length of stay.
Nonresident guests must be escorted at all times.
Students 21 years of age or older are permitted to have alcohol in Engleman Hall.
Smoking is prohibited in all campus buildings. Smoking may not occur within 20 feet of building entrances, windows, overhangs, loading docks, vents or other openings to a building, including residence halls.
Dining Close to Engleman Hall:
Engleman residents have the option of utilizing the many campus dining locations, in addition to the kitchens located in their apartments. Prentice Café and Munchies(a convenience store) are the closest options for a quick meal!
Engleman and Verder Halls together are staffed by a Residence Hall Director (RHD), eight Resident Assistants (RAs), and Art Studio Mentors (for Verderâ€™s lab). The staff's main goals are to provide the residents with valuable information, create a positive community through educational programming, maintain a safe and high-quality living environment and serve as a resource whenever a student has a question or concern.
