RA Recruitment Process
Are you a sophomore or junior? We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for motivated students who are interested in a leadership opportunity with numerous benefits. The RESIDENT ASSISTANT position is not only an exceptional way to build your leadership skills, make a positive impact upon others, but also an opportunity to build friendships that can last a lifetime. If this sounds appealing to you please start by attending one of our informational meetings. Residence Services staff members will be there to answer any questions you may have about the application process and the responsibilities of the RA position.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: To apply for this position you must complete at least 30 credit hours by the start of the Spring 2013 semester and your current GPA and cumulative GPA must be 2.50 or above.
All steps to becoming a successful candidate will occur during the fall 2012 semester and if you are successful you will be eligible for Resident Assistant openings that may occur during spring 2013.
· Attendance at one of the informational meetings listed below is mandatory.
· Successful completion of the LISA (Leadership in Student Affairs) Workshop is required to be eligible for spring 2013 openings.
· Detailed information regarding this workshop will be shared at the informational meeting.
