The creation of this Preferred Vendor page is in response to the growing number of inquiries the Department of Residence Services receives from parents and students regarding outfitting their student for college. The vendor listings found through the logos below provide excellent information on many programs and services offered through their organizations. Please keep in mind that when partnering with any of the companies or groups below, you are contracting via terms and conditions that they provide. KSU Bookstore

The Kent State University bookstore is conveniently located in the Kent Student Center, providing textbooks and course materials for KSU students, as well as apparel, technological needs, and other accessories. Featuring a wide array of merchandise and both new and used textbooks, the KSU bookstore has everything that students need for academic success.

Many of Kent State University's residence halls are equipped with a microfridge and bed loft furniture. These items are provided in the following residence halls: Allyn Hall, Centennial Courts A-F, Clark Hall, Dunbar Hall, Fletcher Hall, Johnson Hall, Koonce Hall, Korb Hall, Lake Hall, Manchester Hall, Olson Hall, Prentice Hall, Stopher Hall, Verder Hall, and Wright Hall. 

If your residence hall is NOT equipped with a microfridge, you may rent one from Bedloft.com. Additionally, you may bring a small refrigerator unit that is five cubic feet or smaller. If you are assigned to Beall or McDowell Halls, you are able to rent a loft from Bedloft.com. By using a bed loft, you can free up space for comfort items like a futon, refrigerator, bean bag chair, additional storage, and more! Interhall Council (KIC) has been a proud member of the On Campus Marketing (OCM) student exam Care Package Programs for over 20 years! OCM care packages provide families a way to connect to their student during final exams and other key times throughout the year. The care packages include items such as quick meals to make exam time easier, beach balls, stress relievers, and other things to increase energy in students who are on-the-go or cramming for their exams. The packages range in price from twenty to fifty-five dollars and they will also include a personalized message from you! As a bonus, each time you order, a portion of the proceeds are used to support KIC's extra co-curricular student life activities in the residence halls at Kent State University.
