Residential Facilities

The Residential Facilities area within the Department of Residence Services is responsible for representing facility needs of Residence Services to the University community. This area provides leadership for the Residence Services Housekeeping operations (7 day coverage in 34 residential facilities) and serves as the liaison with the departments of University Facilities Management and Office of the University Architect for planning and scheduling all residential repairs, renovations and projects.

The Residential Facilities area is also responsible for the Summer Conference and guest housing programs, residence hall recycling programs, furniture and equipment inventories and purchases, damage assessment, public relations, marketing, outreach efforts and ongoing relationships with vendors who provide service to the department and/or residential students.

The Residential Facilities area is responsible for establishing quality standards including developing and monitoring policies and procedures, and conducting periodic reviews of programs and services to ensure continued high quality of service delivery.
