Life Events - Dependent Attending KSU

When your dependent is planning to enroll in classes at the University, these are the steps you need to consider:

  • After the dependent is admitted to Kent State University, complete an Application for Faculty/Staff Tuition Benefit Request for Spouse/Child form. The tuition waiver benefits will continue for that dependent until they stop taking classes or become ineligible as a dependent.

  • The form must be signed by your department head and returned to the Benefits Office for processing no later than 30 days after the start of the semester.

  • Any questions regarding the tuition waiver benefit may be directed to the Benefits Office at 330-672-3107 or by e-mail at benefits@kent.edu.
