Temporary Disability Leave

An employee will be granted a leave of absence without pay not to exceed six (6) months following expiration of accumulated sick leave benefits, when a licensed physician certifies the employee is unable to perform the substantial and material duties of the employee’s position due to a personal illness, injury, pregnancy, childbirth or related medical condition. 

 

To obtain your personal sick leave accrual rate, sick leave used and sick leave balance, log on to FlashLine, and then go to the My HR tab.

 

AFSCME employees should refer to Article 29 of the AFSCME Agreement for additional information.
