Benefits Open Enrollment
Each fall the university offers a Benefits Open Enrollment period which applies to everyone currently eligible to enroll in the university’s health plans. It is a time to review your current benefit elections and your personal data to ensure that everything is current and accurate. Open Enrollment materials are sent out to the employee’s current home mailing address and all eligible employees are strongly encouraged to submit their online plan election by the stated deadline, even if they are not making any changes.
Benefits decisions made during the open enrollment period will take effect the following January and will remain in effect throughout that calendar year. Any eligible employee may enroll for the first time, re-enroll, change plan choices or change dependent coverage.
