Best Benefits Club Offers Discounts
Kent State University has joined the Best Benefits Club (BBC), which offers discounts to hundreds of recreational activities and locations in Ohio and throughout the United States. Kent State faculty and staff can take advantage of the BBC offerings and save money throughout the year on everyday needs and family fun.
Examples of discount prices for destinations and activities include:
Great Wolf Lodge
Cleveland, Columbus and Akron zoos
Regal, Cinemark and AMC theatres
Cleveland Indians games and much more
BBC is easy to use. Just visit www.bbcmember.com and use kent410 for the password.
Once logged in you can search for a discount by activity or location, and follow the instructions to access the discount or purchase tickets. Questions about the program should be directed to BBC at 330-273-5756.
There are other discounts available to Kent State employees, ranging from airport parking and wireless phone service to travel and automotive needs. Information is available here.

Purchasing Power Program
Purchasing Power offers eligible employees the opportunity to purchase name brand products via payroll deduction.
Kent State employees who are benefits-eligible, employed by the university for at least six months, and earn a minimum of $16,000 a year are eligible to make purchases through Purchasing Power by visiting www.PurchasingPower.com . When logging on to the Purchasing Power website for the first time, you will need to provide a group code: use KSU2265.
Items available for purchase include computers, electronics and home appliances. There are a wide variety of brands offered, including Craftsman, Dell, Kenmore, Microsoft, Panasonic and Sony. There is no finance charge or fee. When an employee makes a purchase, the cost will be automatically deducted over a 12-month period from your Kent State paycheck.
