Initiation Program (IP)

The Initiation Program is designed for young hockey players who have completed Learn To Play hockey or have the equivalent skills. Participants will receive 15 one hour lessons throughout the season.
Groups:
Ages 5-7 will be placed in Group A
Ages 8-11 will be placed in Group B
Each age group will be broken down into two levels depending upon skill and ability. Once a player in Level I has attained a certain skill level, they will move into Level II. Each level will focus on different skills and fundamentals.
Equipment:
Each participant must be equipped with a full set of approved hockey gear. This includes:
- Skates
- Helmet/Face Mask
- Gloves
- Shoulder Pads
- Elbow Pads
- Shin Guards
- Hockey Pants
- Stick
- Hockey Socks
- Hockey Garter Belt
- Cup & Supporter
