The goal of this camp is to motivate participants about the sport of ice skating. Participants will refine and further develop their skills over a four day period.Each day will begin will begin with 30 minutes of off-ice instruction followed by 60 minutes of on-ice instruction. Participants must have completed one (1) 8-week session of Basic 1/2 Learn to Skate or higher to participate. Skaters will be placed in small groups for the on-ice session. Summer Flash Fest will conclude with a performance number exhibiting the skills developed during the camp. The exhibition will be August 15 at 7:15pm. Fee: $0 Registration Deadline: June 13 |
About the Program: |
General Information:
- U.S. Figure Skating strongly recommends the use of a hockey or multi-sport helmet for all beginner skaters and children 6 years of age and younger.
- It is recommended that participants dress in layers
- Snow suits and heavy winter clothes are discouraged as they limit movement
- Mittens or gloves are a must

Participants may use their own skates, however double runners are not permitted
- Skates can be rented for $1 per lesson
Participants Will Receive:
- A parking permit (one per family) for Thursday classes. Parking Services does not ticket on weekends.
- An invitation to perform in the annual Holiday Exhibition.
Private Lessons:
Private lessons are available during the practice time at the end of the group lesson. Classes are limited and arranged on an individual bases. Please contact us for more information and fees.
