Each year the Kent State Ice Arena hosts hundreds of birthday parties. The majority of these parties are held during one of our public sessions. The following information applies to the parties that are held during one of our public sessions. 

If you are interested in renting out the Ice Arena on an hourly basis, limited spaces are available. To inquire about available ice times, you must call (330)672-2415 and ask for Rich Mest to assist you.

Party Room

The Ice Arena now offers a private room, ideal for birthday celebrations!  The room is located in the lobby by the front entrance, the former location of our pro shop.  We offer a  package deal, which is described in our party brochure.

Birthday Parties During a Public Session

Have your next birthday party at the Kent State University Ice Arena! The guest of honor receives a free skating pass after the party.

Prices:

• $4.50 per person
• $2.50 skate rental
• $3.00 fountain drink pitchers
• $12.00 for a large one-topping pizza

*You may bring your own cake and ice cream, but outside food is prohibited.
