Course Migration


 

Vista will no longer be available starting Fall 2012. Your courses will not be automatically transferred to the new Blackboard Learn. Please submit one course migration form for each course you would like to migrate.

Support Options for Course Migration

          »» Attend our Open lab sessions in 103 Stewart Hall during the month of April. To view schedule and details Click Here .

          »» You can also choose to work with your ET/IT Support person for Blackboard Migration (AFTER COURSE MIGRATION ONLY).  If you do not know who support person  for your department is Click Here to view a complete list. Please submit the online course migration first before you contact your support person. They will only assist you with cleaning-up course AFTER the migration is completed.


  • Tips
»» To avoid the start of fall semester rush, please do not wait until the start of fall semester to request course migration. We highly recommend that
you request content migration as soon as possible (migration may take 3-4 business days).
»» Provide as much detail as possible in the course migration form. We recommend logging in to Vista and copy/pasting the required information
(Course Name/Number, Section Number and Semester Taught) to ensure accuracy.
»» Once the form has been filled out please allow up to 1 work week for your course content to be moved over. Any special instructions can be entered in the comments box.

Before you request courses to be moved from Vista to Blackboard Learn please review the information below :

 »» Any large courses (over 2 GB) will not move so if you have a large course please make sure you take time to clean out unwanted files or large audio/video files from File manager and save them on your computer
