Open-access Computer Labs
Student Computer Labs are open to all Kent State students and include wireless print stations. Labs offered by other divisions and colleges may have some restrictions.
Limited-access Computer Labs
Computer labs located in residence halls are only open to students living in the residence halls.
The College of Business Administration labs (A224, A226, A230) are available to all Kent State students when no student testing is in progress.
The College of Nursing lab (215 Henderson Hall) is open to all Kent State students when no exams are scheduled.
The College of Fashion Design and Merchandising lab (124 Rockwell Hall) is open to all Kent State students when no classes are scheduled.
The College of Architecture and Environmental Design Digital Print and Fabrication Facility in the Center for Architecture and Environmental Design offers a laser engraving and cutting service. Costs vary.
The TechStyleLAB in the School of Fashion Design and Merchandising is open to all Kent State students. Service costs vary. Find out more at www.tech-style-lab.org.
The Student Multimedia Studio (First Floor, Library) offers workstations installed with the Adobe Creative Suite as well as other audio, video, and graphics editing software. Other resources for use free of charge for Kent State students include scanners, 3-D printers, and 3-D pens.
The University Library has a limited number of Chromebooks available at the Circulation Desk to lend to Kent State students.
The Spark Innovation Studio (191-192 Schwartz Center) offers 3-D printing and laser cutting, prototyping tools, project studio space, and more. Costs vary. Learn more at library.kent.edu/spark.
