Microsoft Agreement


Kent State University maintains an agreement with Microsoft that allows the university, as well as faculty, staff and students to purchase Microsoft software at academic discounts.

Microsoft occasionally markets directly to students at lower prices than offered to students through our agreement.

Valid while you are employed at KSU, and can only be used for University business on a personal computer.

  • University Purchases

The Campus Agreement allows Microsoft Operating Systems ( XP, Vista and 7 ) to be installed free of charge to departments on any university-owned computer purchased with a copy of Windows.

Our Campus Agreement also allows for unlimited installations of Microsoft Office Premium and Enterprise, along with Sharepoint Designer and Visual Studio.

All other Microsoft software is available on the Select Agreement. See your local support staff to arrange purchase.
