Human Resources

New Hire and Life Events:  Overview of Banner 8.4 Enhancements

Banner HR 8.4 provides new functionality for New Hire and Live Events Enrollment. This presentation will provide information about the new web pages and rule forms delivered with this release to allow employees to perform their own enrollment. New Hire Enrollment allows your institution to collect employee benefit elections as well as dependents and beneficiary information as new employees begin. Life Event Enrollment can be accessible to employees throughout the year to allow authorized changes to the employee's existing benefits for a qualifying live event change.  In both types of enrollment processes, new self-service pages have been added to accept benefit Coverage and beneficiary allocations directly from the employee.  New administrative pages allow the Benefits Administrator access to these records to review and post them into the Banner database after review.

Processing IPEDS for Human Resources

Learn about everything Banner can do to make your Human Resources IPEDS reporting easier.  This class provides an overview of the IPEDS processing for Human Resources within Banner including the set up required and the reports created.  When the set-up is completed, IPEDS Human Resources reporting can be completed by users, including both detailed reports and the summaries actually reported.

Web Time Entry

Think about making your way to a paperless world.   Learn about entering time and leaves on the web.  This will be a basic overview about Banner Web Time Entry and Banner Leave Time Entry designed for those schools who are not already using this functionality.   This class will also include some practical steps for successfully implementations.

Miami's BDMS Standards & How BDMS Has Made Our Life Better

Miami's users settings on our campus. Creating applications, auto indexing and test plans are all things we do.  Attaching documents, Easy Image (a Miami Process) and Banner Web for Accounting will all be discussed.
