Scanning Services

What is Scanning Services?

Scanning Services is a free service offered by the IS Operations department for the benefit of all KSU faculty members. This service provides a computerized solution to process surveys, evaluations, and objective classroom examinations. The scanning device reads pencil marks from specially printed forms.  The system can track individual scores throughout the semester, and can provide reports containing history, total points, statistics, frequency tables, and item analysis.

How do I request Scanning Services?

Scanning Services is located in Data Center Operations, 120 Library.  Scanning request forms may be picked up at the Data Center Operations window, located on your right as you enter the computer center.  Personnel at the window can help answer your questions.  Scanning Services hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Please call us at 330-672-3736 for more information, for a tour of Scanning Services, for a hands-on explanation of documents and choices, or for personalized assistance in completing the request forms.
