Getting Started

  • Set up your Course Shell - Contact your Department Scheduler and have them set up course codes in Banner for Blackboard Learn.
  • If your courses are not showing up in your course list, please contact your Department Scheduler ASAP.
  • Verify your Student Roster - Log in to your course, under Control Panel, click on Users and Groups then click on Users.  If this list does not match your official FlashLine student roster, please submit a help desk ticket.
  • Save Student Data from Course - Please click End of Semester Checklist for detailed instructions.
  • Test Tip - Please follow the recommendations in Tips for Faculty for setting up tests in your Blackboard Learn course.
  • Sync Tool - When you are not able to view your course(s) in Blackboard Learn, you can SYNC your FlashLine account to resolve the issue.
  • Combine Multiple Course Sections - Please submit your Course Combine request and all a couple of days for processing.
  • Copy Course Content - Copy Course Content from a previous course into a current course.
