Game Consoles - Connectivity in Residence Halls

Information Services provides and supports the network that permits Kent Campus students living in residence halls to connect their Xbox, Wii, Playstation and other gaming/entertainment devices to the internet.

How to request this service

When prompted, select the "Gaming" network in the residence halls.

We recommend reviewing the detailed instructions at support.kent.edu/gaming prior to setting up your system.

Additional information

You may need to request a wired port prior to connecting. Submit a Support Ticket at support.kent.edu. Use the following:

  • Request Type: Network and Wireless Access (S)
  • Wired (Ethernet) Connection Issue

NOTE: Installation of a wired port is not available 24/7.
