Email for Faculty/Staff - Exchange/Office 365

Email and Calendar access is provided to most full-time faculty and staff at Kent State University. This system is known as Exchange or Office 365.

How to request this service

This service is provided automatically to faculty and staff upon hire. Students and guests can request an Exchange account with the approval of their supervisor. Submit a Support Ticket at support.kent.edu. Choose the following:

  • Request Type: Email, Calendar, Cisco Jabber, and Listserv
  • Service Detail: Exchange Server Accounts (Create/Remove)

NOTE: This service is provided in order to support official university functions. It may be requested by any person responsible for implementing or maintaining a service in support of university business.

Service delivery process

Expected response time for acknowledgement:
Requests are immediately acknowledged by the helpdesk system.

Expected response time for fulfillment:
Requests not needing further information are usually fulfilled within 5 business days.

Service delivery hours:
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Excluding university breaks
