Wireless Access Point (WAP)

Wireless network radio transmitter installed in campus buildings and around campus that provide connection to wireless network equipped PCs, MACs and other mobile devices.

Costs associated with this service

Varies. Requires an initial survey to determine the number of devices and their placement necessary for coverage of the requested area.

How to request this service

Submit a Support Ticket at support.kent.edu. Choose Request Type, "Network & Wireless Access."

Service delivery process

Expected response time for acknowledgement:
Immediate acknowledgement from ticketing system accompanied by a ticket number

Expected response time for fulfillment:
Varies depending on complexity of request

Service delivery hours:
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Excluding university breaks
