Enterprise file transferring service currently uses webftp to allow file transfers between departments and from the University to outside businesses.
The service allows upload, download and peer to peer file transfers using http with ssl and sftp. The service supports both automatic script jobs and manual operation of file transfers via the Web. Web-based file transferring services are provided for University departments and Enterprise Servers.

How to request this service
Submit a Support Ticket at support.kent.edu. Choose the following:
- Request Type: Security and Access Management
- Security and Access Management Detail: Other
This service is provided in order to support official university functions. It may be requested by any person responsible for implementing or maintaining a service in support of university business. The customer is responsible to keep the password secure and tracking the shared generic accounts if using one. Also customer response is required for deleting the no longer used files.
Service delivery process
Expected response time for acknowledgement:
Requests are immediately acknowledged by the helpdesk system. Acknowledgement of a request will be received within 3 business days from an IS representative. A representative from IS Server Support will contact you for additional technical information.
Expected response time for fulfillment:
The time it takes to fulfill requests will vary depending on complexity of requirements.
Service delivery hours:
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
