Storage Management

Provides complete range of skills from design to management for SAN attached storage and related infrastructure. Environment varies in scope from individual department to University wide.

Costs associated with this service

Cost is quoted based on requirements and storage configuration.

How to request this service

Submit a Support Ticket at support.kent.edu. Choose the following:

  • Request Type: Shared Drives, File Shares, and Backups
  • Shared Drive Detail: Create New File Shares Service

or call 330-672-HELP (4357).

NOTE: This service is provided in order to support official university functions. It may be requested by any person responsible for implementing or maintaining a service in support of university business.

Service delivery process

Expected response time for acknowledgement:
Requests are immediately acknowledged by the helpdesk system. Acknowledgement of a request will be received within 3 business days from an IS representative. A representative from IS Server Support will contact you for additional technical information.

Expected response time for fulfillment:
The time it takes to fulfill requests will vary depending on complexity of requirements.

Service delivery hours:
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Excluding university breaks
