Load Balancing and SSL Offload

Load balancing provides high availability for enterprise applications by allowing multiple application servers to be pooled and accessed as if they were a single host. SSL Offloading allows SSL certificates to be managed by the load balancer, rather than on each individual application server. This simplifies certificate management as well as decreases load on application servers associated with data encryption.
