Welcome to KASADA, the primary organized group of professional and faculty advisors and student support personnel at Kent State University. The organization is an allied member of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) and supports the goals and programs of NACADA.

Our Mission
Academic advising is a purposeful, collaborative teaching and learning process integral to the educational experience at all Kent State University campuses. Through relationships with academic advisors, students have access to sustained support, information, and resources contributing to self-discovery and personal growth. Advisors work in partnership with students to help them develop and pursue meaningful educational plans and activities compatible with their values, abilities, career aspirations, and life goals.

Our Vision
To promote greater understanding of the role of advising in student learning within the academic community and to strengthen University-wide recognition of the significance of academic advising in the recruitment, retention and academic success of Kent State University students.
