Lose Weight, Feel Good this Summer With Weight Watchers at Work

Kent State offers a year-round Weight Watchers at Work program to faculty, staff and students on all campuses and community locations

Kent State offers a year-round Weight Watchers at Work program to faculty, staff and students on all campuses and community locations. Earlier this year, Weight Watchers introduced a new monthly pass program that includes the Points Plus program and e-tools, to make losing weight easier while still enjoying many of the foods you like to eat.

The new program allows members the flexibility and convenience to attend a Weight Watchers at Work meeting or a meeting in their community. Members can also download the Weight Watchers mobile application on their smart phones at no charge.

The Weight Watchers at Work program is currently offered on the Kent Campus on Tuesdays at noon in the Kent Student Center. Weight Watchers will host an open house to offer more information about the program on Tuesday, June 12, at noon in Room 313 of the Kent Student Center. With the new payment offerings, the At Work sessions run continually, with no end date. However, a minimum of 20 members must be enrolled for each class session.

An incentive program is also available for employees who have medical coverage through Medical Mutual of Ohio and sign up for the monthly pass program. Members are eligible for a maximum reimbursement of $150 per calendar year. There is no reimbursement for the online program.

If you want more information about the Weight Watchers at Work program, but can’t attend the June 12 Open House, visit the Weight Watchers at Work page on the HR website. You can also contact Marlo Kibler at 330-672-8320 or mkibler5@kent.edu.
