The Corporate University Announces The Knowledge NetworkPosted Jun. 3, 2011
The worker of the future has grown up in the age of knowledge and technology with unprecedented skills and abilities. To keep pace with these “digital natives” as they enter the workplace and to serve the organizations that are employing them, The Corporate University, Kent State University at Stark developed The Knowledge Network, a new holistic approach to professional development.
The Corporate University, in partnership with local businesses and organizations, created The Knowledge Network through a six-month workforce trends research project that heavily involved client input. This revolutionary model identifies and addresses the current and future needs of companies to provide a learning experience with pre- and post-program support, ensuring that the lessons from each learning opportunity are effectively transferred to the workplace.
“The Knowledge Network addresses the process development needs unique to every organization and individual. We are the first lifelong learning office in this area to provide such comprehensive support services,” says Kelli Baxter, director of The Corporate University. “The experienced professionals of The Corporate University are specifically trained to support the business community in the knowledge era of the 21st century. We believe this innovative approach to corporate training will build even stronger relationships with local organizations as we meet the challenges of a global economy together.”
Services and programs of The Knowledge Network begin September 2011. To become a partner and learn more, call 330-244-3508, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.YourCorporateU.com.
