Accessing the Electronic Reserves System, ERes
1. Internet Service
You will need a computer with Internet access, either on or off campus.
2. Web Browser
ERes should work with the major browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari.
3. Adobe Acrobat Reader
The Adobe Acrobat Reader is needed to view and print any documents formatted as Portable Document Format (PDF) on the ERes system. For Adobe Acrobat problems, contact the Help Desk at 330-672-HELP (4357) or http://support.kent.edu
Obtaining a Password
Course pages on ERes are password protected due to Copyright Guidelines. Each course has an assigned password for each semester. A course password is one word, in lower case, and generally contains both letters and numbers.
Learn Users and ERes
To obtain the current password, or if you forget the password, and are unable to contact your instructor, contact Reserve Services at 330-672-7906 Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
In order to access the readings in ERes via Learn, you will need the ERes course password. For any Learn problems, contact the course instructor or the Help Desk for assistance at 330-672-HELP (4357) or http://support.kent.edu
