Take Placement Assessment


  • New students are required to complete the ALEKS placement assessment online. 
  • It must be completed no later than 48 hours before attending Destination Kent State. 
  • Regional Campus students will receive instructions about whether to take the placement assessment online or on campus during a Regional Campus orientation program or advising appointment.

To access the placement assessment, go to the Placement Assessment Channel on your "Student Tools" tab in FlashLine.  Below there is a screen shot of the Placement Channel.  Click on the Math Placement and follow the instructions.  Be sure to take this assessment seriously, it will determine which Math class you are placed into.
