Eugen Wüster Prize 2010 Awarded to Sue Ellen Wright
Posted Sep. 14, 2010 Sue Ellen Wright, professor of translation studies was awarded the Eugen Wüster Prize 2010 by Infoterm for her contributions to terminology studies. She is the second American to ever receive the prize since its inception 1995. Now located in Vienna, Infoterm,the International Information Centre for terminology founded by Unesco in 1991 promotes international co-operation in the field of terminology. Members are international, regional or national terminology institutions, organizations and networks, as well as non-profit institutions engaged in terminological activities. Inforterm works closely with ISO (International Standards Association).
