B.A. in Latin American Studies


The Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies is an interdisciplinary degree that is taught in a variety of departments: History, Political Science, Geography and Pan-African Studies. Additional elective courses are offered in Anthropology, Economics, English, Justice Studies, Modern and Classical Language Studies, Music and Sociology.

Students majoring in Latin American studies must complete Intermediate II of either Spanish or Portuguese.
