Minor in German
Ranging from elementary German study through a Master's degree, programs in German offer students the opportunity for in-depth study of the language and culture of the German-speaking countries, as well as translation from German into English.
The Minor in German offers students in other majors the opportunity to deepen and broaden their knowledge of German and its literature and culture alongside their major. It requires 18 credits beyond the Elementary/Intermediate sequence. Students take required courses in German grammar, composition, conversation, literature, and civilization, and choose two upper-division electives.
