Creamer Named to Miami University Post
Miami University today announced the appointment of Dr. David Creamer, Kent State University’s senior vice president for Administration, as Miami’s vice president for finance and business services and treasurer, effective June 1, 2008.
In a message to senior university staff, Kent State President Lester A. Lefton said that Senior Vice President Creamer “has made major contributions to Kent State, most recently his superb leadership of a broad-based process that produced recommendations on responsibility centered management (RCM). Kent State ranks first among Ohio’s public universities in financial stability and in many ways is a better, stronger institution because of his leadership. Given his record of success and reputation for excellence, we surely will be able to recruit an outstanding successor.”
A national search for Creamer successor will begin immediately. A date will also be set to celebrate Creamer’s accomplishments at Kent State.
