Speaker to Address Global Warming's Effects on the Great Lakes: Conference Open to the Public
You’re invited to attend the Kent State University Water Resources Research Institute (WRRI) Annual Research Conference from 1 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, in room 306 of the Kent Student Center, Kent Campus. The conference is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Brent M. Lofgren, a physical scientist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Great Lakes Environmental Research Lab, will present the keynote speech, titled “Global Warming and Its Effects on the Future of the Great Lakes.” The speech will begin at 3:30 p.m.
Other conference highlights will include a poster session from 1 to 3:30 p.m. featuring current research by WRRI students.
