The Kent Wind Ensemble
The premier concert band at Kent State University, this ensemble performs the most advanced literature for wind band. Performances include two concerts per semester and selected off-campus appearances at music conferences and local high schools. Auditions for this ensemble are held at the beginning of each semester. The Kent Concert Band
A concert band consisting of music majors and non-music majors. This group performs significant band literature at two concerts each semester. Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester. The Kent â€Ĺ“Communiversity†Band
This ensemble is open to all students and community members and allow music-majors to gain experience performing on secondary instruments. This group features exposure to many styles of music through once-a-week rehearsals and performs one concert each semester.
