General Membership
To become a member of the KSU-NAACP, you must understand and represent our six principles: Unifying, Advocating, Motivating, Leading, Educating, and Believing. The NAACP is a national civil rights organization, and we aim to ensure the success and inclusion of the underrepresented population in America. Anyone can attend our programs and events, but we expect our supporters and those interested in general membership to help promote our programs and events through any means of advertisement (word-of-mouth, flier posting, e-mailing, etc.) General members will be added to our listserv, and they should also be connected to our Facebook and Twitter web pages.
National Affiliation
National affiliated members get access to many benefits when they receive their PerksCard. National affiliates also get the information about our upcoming events and other sneak-peaks! As we survey the campus about what students would like to see happen as far as programming, we consult our national affiliates first. Also, this membership grants you the right to list the NAACP as a professional organization in which you belong. Once you are nationally affiliated, you have this right for one year, and you must renew you membership in order to keep the benefits.
