Kent State University faculty and staff members got together for a very special event for the Kent State family on March 2. “TOGETHER: Excellence in Action” celebrated our shared commitment to excellence and showed appreciation for the faculty and staff that demonstrate “Excellence in Action” every day.

There’s plenty to celebrate. Each day seems to bring new recognitions and honors as the world discovers all the great things happening here. Kent State is ranked among the top 200 universities in the world and is largest public research university in Northeast Ohio as well as the #1 employer in Portage County.

This event recognized and reinforced that together, Kent State represents a powerful force – individually, locally and internationally! Though working together, and through the resources, both human and capital, of our large, successful institution, we can accomplish great things and will continue to do so.

This appreciation event for faculty and staff included an ice cream social and some “most excellent” giveaways.
