Kent State University Alumni Association Appoints National Board of Directors’ Officers and New Members (09/03/2009)

The Kent State University Alumni Association Inc. announces the following officers for its National Alumni Board of Directors:

Nicholas Sucic, of Kent, has been appointed president.  Sucic is vice president and controller at Davey Tree Expert Company in Kent.  He earned a bachelor of business administration degree in 1970 and a master of science in accounting degree in 2008.

Judith Gentile Hackett
, of Norcross, Ga., has been appointed president-elect.  Hackett is chief marketing officer with CodeReady Solutions in Suwannee, GA.  She earned a bachelor of arts degree in 1982.

Robert Maschke, of Cleveland, has been appointed vice president.  Maschke is principal of Robert Maschke Architects.  He earned a bachelor of science degree in 1988 and a bachelor of architecture degree in 1989.

Susan Paschke, of Berea, has been appointed secretary.  Paschke is chief quality officer for the Division of Nursing at the Visiting Nurse Association of Cleveland.  She earned a bachelor of science of nursing degree in 1983 and a master of science of nursing degree in 1992.

Kenneth Senvisky, of Twinsburg, has been appointed treasurer.  Senvisky is vice president and portfolio manager for Fifth Third Bank in Cleveland.  He earned a bachelor of business administration degree in 1990.

Timothy D. Eippert, of Concord, has been appointed immediate past president.  Eippert is the owner of MC Sign Company in Mentor. He earned a bachelor of business administration degree in 1992.

In addition, the following new members, all alumni of Kent State, have been appointed to serve three-year terms, ending in 2012:

Dr. Rozell R. Duncan, of Fairlawn, has been appointed faculty representative.  Duncan is a faculty member in Communication Studies at Kent State University.  She earned a Ph.D. from Kent State in 1996.

Brian Marino, of Fairview Park, is a financial advisor and special care planner with Skylight Financial Group in Cleveland.  He earned a bachelor of business administration degree in 2001.

Kathy Reid, of Hudson, is broker/owner of Prudential Kathy Reid Realty Company in Hudson.  She earned a bachelor of science degree in 1969.

Maria Schneider, of Copley, is director of conversion services for corporate and retirement services with Charles Schwab & Company Inc.  She earned a bachelor of business administration degree in 1986.
