The Downtown Gallery, located at 141 East Main Street, will host an opening reception for Binary Fiction: Digital Weaving by Kent State Alumni and Students. The show will be open from Sept. 2 to Oct. 10. The Downtown Gallery is open from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

The School of Art Gallery, located in the School of Art building, will host an opening for a show featuring Lia Cook. The exhibit, titled In Touch: Faces and Mazes will be on display from Sept. 1-25. The School of Art Gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays.
