ADVISORY: Board of Trustees Meeting

The Kent State University Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting Wednesday, Jan. 27.

The Board will convene at 9:30 a.m. in the George Urban Board of Trustees Conference Room, which is located on the second floor of the Kent Campus Library.

Please note: The Board’s deliberations and actions will take place during the business meeting at 9:30 a.m. When the meeting ends (at about 10:30 a.m.), Trustees will take a campus tour; have lunch with students at the Cohn Jewish Student Center; and participate in sessions to evaluate campus facilities (at the Cohn Jewish Student Center from 2-4 p.m.).  No actions will be taken at the afternoon sessions.

Trustees are expected to retire into executive session prior to the business meeting (at about 8 a.m.) to consider specific topics as provided for under Ohio's "Sunshine Law."

Kent State President Lester A. Lefton and Board Chair Patrick Mullin will be available to answer media questions immediately after the business meeting.
