CANCELED: Poetry Reading With Mindi Kirchner, Liz Tilton Feb. 9

THE POETRY READING HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

The Wick Poetry Center hosts the first poetry reading of the semester at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 9 in Room 306 of the Kent Student Center featuring Mindi Kirchner and Liz Tilton. This event is free and open to the public.

Kirchner and Tilton are both winners of the 2008 Chapbook Competition for Ohio poets.

Kirchner also won the 2006 Robert Hare Award in poetry. Her poems have been published in Avatar Review, Eclipse, Perigee, The Penguin Review and other publications. She currently teaches at Youngstown State University.

Tilton received works at the Center for Enhancement of Teaching & Learning from the University of Cincinnati where she received a Ph.D. in English Literature in 2008. Her book, Cincinnati’s Historic Findlay Market, was published in 2009.
