KSU School of Art Galleries Accepting Submissions for 2013 Student Annual

The Kent State University School of Art Gallery will be accepting submissions for the 2013 Student Annual, the yearly juried exhibition of student work.

Entries will be accepted Mon., Feb. 18 and Tues., Feb. 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the School of Art Gallery. Alexandra Nicholis Coon, executive director of the Massillon Museum, will jury this year's Student Annual. Entrants must be a major within the School of Art to participate,either graduate or undergraduate.  Students may submit up to two works.

All accepted works will be displayed in the School of Art Gallery Feb. 28 through March 20. A reception will be held Feb. 28 from 5-7 p.m., free and open to the public.

Art must be submitted ready to install. The list of accepted works will be posted on the evening of Wed., Feb. 20.  Artists with accepted works must returnThurs., Feb. 21 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to assist with installation. Unaccepted works must be picked up Thurs., Feb. 21 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
