Learning sciences and educational psychology are fields involved in the application and scholarly evaluation of psychological principles related to learning and instruction. These areas of study encompass a variety of disciplines, including cognitive psychology, human development, and learning theory.

Students are exposed to the latest research findings regarding how people (children and adults) learn most effectively and efficiently. Our course offerings also provide descriptions and content related to design of instruction, how to most accurately assess different types of learning, and implement methodological techniques in the classroom and the laboratory.

The Educational Psychology and Learning Sciences program offers three degrees and one concentration.
