Master's Program

M.A. and M.Ed. in Cultural Foundations

The program offers a master's degree (Master of Education or Master of Arts) with a focus on areas of inquiry for educators and other professionals interested in educational issues affecting the nation and the world. The degrees require a minimum of 30 credit hours of graduate coursework including 15 credit hours in core Cultural Foundations courses, a course in Psychological Development, and 9-12 focus courses in Cultural Foundations. M.A. and M.Ed. students have six (6) years from the term of first enrollment to complete the program.

The M.A. requires six (6) credit hours of thesis. The M.Ed. requires 30 credits of coursework which may include up to six (6) credits of internship or practicum.
