College of Public Health is thrilled to invite you to a free, one-hour, training webinar for Community Health Workers. The training will presented by Melissa Dyer, Ph.D., MBA, MSN, RN, Professor in the Kent State University College of Nursing. Participants who successfully complete the training will receive a 1 free continuing education hour credit from the Ohio Board of Nursing.

1) Identify types of trafficking
2) Identify vulnerable populations most likely to be trafficked
3) Identify red flags of human trafficking
4) Identify common health problems victims of human trafficking frequently experience
5) Identify immediate needs victims of human trafficking may have
6) Identify ways the Community Health Worker may intervene.
