Graduate Student Awards for the Lindau Meeting of Nobel Laureates & Students
Sponsored Programs is coordinating nominations for the Graduate Student Awards for the Lindau Meeting of Nobel Laureates and Students in Lindau, Germany. Award recipients will receive a travel grant to attend the 66th Lindau Meeting of Nobel Laureates and Students, June 26 –July 1, 2016. The 2016 Focus is Physics.
To be eligible, a student must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, have completed by June 2016 two academic years of study toward a doctoral degree in Physics or related discipline, but not be planning a dissertation/thesis defense before December 31, 2016; be currently enrolled at Kent State University as a full-time graduate student; and must be participating in a funded research project.

There is an institutional limit of two nominations for Kent State University. If you wish to nominate a graduate student for this award please contact the Sponsored Programs Office at x2-2070 or via email to Diana Skok at dskok@kent.edu no later than Wednesday, September 30, 2015. If more than two students are nominated, an internal competition will be conducted.
