Parking Tips

Daytime Parking Tips

The beginning of every semester is always busy.  We encourage all commuter students to arrive early in order to find a place to park.

Your parking permit does not guarantee a space in one particular C-lot.  There are seven different C lots and the ones on the north side of the campus (by CPA and Verder/Terrace) tend to fill between the hours of 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day. The lots on the Summit St. side of campus (Ice Arena, Science area and the Rec Center) typically have open space everyday.

Your parking permit does not guarantee a space in one particular C-lot.  If the C-lot you want to park in is full, you must move to the next C-lot.  The seven C-lot locations are as follows:

  • C-Midway/Verder (by Midway Drive and behind Verder Hall)
  • C-Center for the Performing Arts
  • C-Ice Arena
  • C-Science (located by LCI along Summit St. – also spaces located up the hill between LCI and the athletic running track)
  • C-Recreation Center
  • C-Campus Center (located along both sides of West Campus Center Dr.)
  • C-Greek Village (located between Ted Boyd Dr. and West Campus Center Dr.)

Evening Parking Tips (after 4:00 p.m.)

Your parking permit does not guarantee a space in one particular lot.  If the lot you want to park in is full, you must move to the next C or non-restricted staff lot.

The busiest parking areas around the 4 p.m.-5 p.m. time slot are near the Bowman/Satterfield lot and the White Hall lot.

If the R7 Bowman lot is full, there is parking located across Summit Street in the C-Campus Center Drive lots or R12 Schwartz lot.

If the R16 White Hall lot is full there is additional parking across Terrace Drive in the C- Midway lot or the C-Verder lot located both in front of and behind Terrace Hall.

If you have any questions pertaining to parking please feel free to contact our office at 330-672-4432.
