She was a key component to Coshocton’s East Central Ohio League (ECOL) Gray Division Softball Championship her junior year and sectional title team her senior year. She was also a two-year letter winner for the Lady Redskins basketball team, earned Honorable Mention ECOL her senior year along with having the highest free throw percentage on her team. Crown is a Skills USA member, has completed the State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) training and volunteers at Hospice and local nursing homes.  She has narrowed her college major to early childhood education or nursing.

“We are very happy to have such a versatile athlete and civic-minded young lady like Kelsey on our team,” said Chuck Peach, Head Softball Coach for Kent State Tuscarawas. “She has the passion for helping people and that translates into being a great teammate on the field. She’s a special person and we can’t wait to see how she develops at the collegiate level, because she has lots to offer and hasn’t fully tapped into her potential. Having her as a member of the Golden Eagles softball team is a huge feather in our cap.”

Kent State Tuscarawas is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
